My dream is to come home one day and find the cat and the dog locked in a loving embrace. Also, holy confusing pronouns. Cats are always thought of as feminine and dogs as masculine, which means that having a male cat and a female dog can get pretty linguistically confusing. Every conversation we have about the two of them takes twice as long as it should because we keep having to go back and correct ourselves. (“She’s just going to have to get used to him…I mean, he’s going to have to get used to her.”)
