Late Show - Where’s Joaquin Phoenix? - Watch Letterman’s years of experience show through.

Reblog this because it is classic Letterman and a wtf moment with Phoenix. Not to mention I have a rising curiosity in Phoenix’s hip-hop career.

I kind of hope this gets people to see his new movie. I saw Two Lovers in a class a couple weeks ago, and it was really really good. Good enough that I thought, “man, it’s a shame it’s coming out in February, because everyone will have forgotten about it by next Oscar season.” I hadn’t planned to see it—sorry, Gwenyth Paltrow, but any time I see you in a movie trailer I go into a brief coma—and it took me completely by surprise. Joaquin Phoenix is a great actor, and I hope his appearance on Letterman was just another performance.
