Tonight we made our own double feature, Whatever Works and Moon at the Bijou. Tickets at that theater are only $6 and we unknowingly stumbled upon “Two-fer Tuesday,” which meant that four movie tickets cost us a total of $12, the price of a single ticket in New York City.
Whatever Works was…abysmal, and I have too much respect for the work Woody Allen has done over the years to elaborate. Moon was excellent. The trailer makes it look like 2001/Solaris but, while it is definitely their progeny, it has plenty of ideas of its own, so don’t be fooled into thinking you’ve seen it all before.

First trailer for Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince

reblogged from eveholt:

It looks like they spent more time on Lil’ Orphan Voldie as opposed to splitting it equally with the crazy hillblly inbred Gaunts, who aren’t in the movie at all apparently.

Also, Fenrir Greyback better be in this eating some Weasley face.

Oh.  Hell.  Yes.
