The first time I went to a birthday dinner for you, you were turning 19, and none of the things that made us such good friends had happened yet. The last time I went to a birthday dinner for you, you were turning 22 and preparing to leave New York for Los Angeles. Now you are 27, and I am living in LA, too, and so happy I can celebrate with you again. It has been such a pleasure to grow up and become a real person with you!
