I’m definitely a believer in the big screen experience, but I’m also on a budget, and there’s a huge difference between paying $6.99 to watch it at home and the $27 it would cost for two people to see it in a theater. As someone who used to go to the movies two or three times a week but can no longer afford to go, like, ever, I really appreciate a chance to see a new movie.

I thought it was dumb but fun, but Joe HATED it. Like, was in a rage as we left the theater. The last thing he got that mad about was the Battlestar Galactica finale.
ED: That last part was not true! He reeeeeally hated I Am Love.
I have mixed feelings about Drive (pretty to look at, well made, but totally empty inside (why does everyone think it’s so awesome?)), but I love this Kavinsky & Lovefoxxx song from the soundtrack.
I was planning to skip Fright Night (even though I will see basically any Colin Farrell movie), but today I learned that it features David Tennant dressed as a sexy magician and was forced to reverse my position.
I have no business buying any more books what with the whole moving 850 miles away next month thing, but I’m probably going to treat myself to this book about the making of Do the Right Thing when I get paid.
